Investigation of aquatic vascular flora at Sadullapur Upazila of Gaibandha District, Bangladesh

The present article focused on aquatic vascular plants diversity and their conservation status in natural manmade wetlands habitats of Sadullapur Gaibandha. study was conducted between May 2019 to June 2020. A total 52 plant species recorded from Gaibandha the study. These are assigned 35 genera under 30 families. For each scientific name, local family, division, habit, habitat, use provided. Ecological analysis aquatics shows variations. Among them, 37% prefers grow near edge water, 13% submerged, 11% as emergent, free floating 28% rooted habitat. In case submerged species, they produce flowers surface water. After pollination fruits remain water up maturation. 49% used fodder, 22% medicinal, 4% aquarium purpose, 9% vegetable, 6% edible, 10% fish food area. population number different is not uniform.
